The digital V-Cymbal features a high-resolution, multi-sensor system that accurately detects every nuance of your playing, from hard strikes to soft touches, across all positions—from edge to bell. This data is transmitted via a high-speed digital trigger connection to the TD-50 module.

The CY-18DR provides expressive drummers with greater dynamic range than ever before, supporting techniques such as cymbal legato, soft bell strokes, and cymbal chokes. Additionally, by simply touching the bell or bow with a finger or palm, you can mute the sound—allowing for a natural decay, just like an acoustic ride cymbal.
